Dr. Khadija Ishaq About Me I am Dr. Khadija Ishaq, a graduate of King Edward Medical University (Batch 2019–2024). I have completed my house job with rotations in General Medicine, Pediatric Medicine, General Surgery, and Gynecology. I completed my Gynecology rotation at Lady Willingdon Hospital, Unit III, and my rotations in Pediatric Medicine, General Medicine, and General Surgery at Mayo Hospital, Lahore. Clinical Interests I am a passionate and enthusiastic learner with a strong interest in Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Pediatrics, and Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU). I am particularly interested in the assessment, stabilization, and management of acute medical and surgical emergencies. I strive to improve my clinical knowledge, practical skills, and ability to provide safe, evidence-based patient care. Clinical and Procedural Experience During my training at Mayo Hospital, I gained experience in adult and pediatric emergency departments, outpatient departments (OPDs), inpatient wards, and emergency, elective, and minor operation theaters. I worked as an on-call House Officer and Emergency Department House Officer, gaining experience in patient assessment, triage, stabilization, and emergency management. My procedural experience includes lumbar puncture, central line placement, double-lumen catheter (DLC) placement, nail removal, and tissue biopsies. I have also participated in appendectomy procedures. My obstetric experience includes performing two independent cesarean sections, conducting normal vaginal deliveries, and managing obstetric emergencies.
